The Insitute is having the following centers.
Centre for Clean Technologies and Sustainable Development(CTSD)
The Centre conducts short term training programs on Clean and green technologies as well as technologies for sustainable development such as Green and Intelligent Buildings, Smart Sustainable Cities, Sustainable Built Environment etc. for different stake holders from academic institutions and other government sectors. The faculty of this department filed 01 Patent “A Process of Making Construction Material Using Electroplating Waste Sludge and The Products Thereof”.
Centre for Development of Technical Competencies (CDTC)
The institute has a centre for development of technical competencies for students of Engineering and Polytechnics and professionals from Industry to train in emerging areas. The major activities of this centre are
- Students training (summer training for engineering students)
- Laboratory practices for engineering students
- Customized courses for field professionals
- Fabrication of models for outside agencies
