NITTTR Chandigarh  announces a Short Term Training Course on Open Source Technologies and Linux Administration, with an objective to provide practical oriented training on Linux Administration (by industry experienced Red Hat Certified Linux professionals).

  • Boot Process, Emergency Boot Disk
  • Network Setup.
  • GUI Management
  • Services & System Administration
  • File & Directory Sharing ( Samba, NFS & FTP)
  • Configuration of Printers
  • Update Kernel
  • Automating Tasks
  • System Logs & Monitoring.
  • Back ups & Disaster Recovery
  • X Window system
  • Remote Administration
  • DHCP, Apache Web Server with MySQL & PHP, Proxy Server
  • DNS, Mail Server installation & configuration
  • LDAP Server
  • Security Policy & Concerns
  • IP Tables, Firewalls.
  • Intrusion Detection.
  • Running Windows Programs on Linux.
  • Databases
 
Duration :       3 weeks,  4 Hrs / Day.   (Monday to Friday) 
Timings :       2 PM - 6 PM, Total : 60 Hours
Fee :                    Rs. 1500/- for Students/Pvt. Institute's Faculty and Staff
                       Rs. 3000/- for Industry Persons/Others
                       NIl for  Sponsored Govt/Govt. Aided Institute's Faculty and Staff

and are also available with the Coordinator, Computer Science Department, NITTTR

Duly filled Application form, along with the advance fee of Rs. 500/- (non – refundable)
in the form of cash/DD in favour of Director, NITTTR Chandigarh, should be sent/deposited
to following address on or before the last date of application.
