Ph.D. in CSE
The department offers Ph.D. programme in the areas of Image processing, Wireless Network, Mobile Adhoc Networks, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.
M.Tech. in CSE
The department offers an industry-oriented and practice-based M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, duly approved by AICTE.
PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
PEO1
To develop technical knowledge and skills in the area of Computer Science and Engineering at post-graduate level
PEO2
To develop the ability to undertake R&D in the field of Computer Science and Engineering
PEO3
To develop the generic skills such as life-long learning, creativity, problem solving, team work, lifelong learning and leadership, professional ethics and values.
Programme Outcomes (POs) for ME CSE Program are:
- PO1: An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
- PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
- PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.

In addition to short term courses, the department offers Faculty Development Programmes sponsored by AICTE, New Delhi and in-country programmes in collaboration with Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) for Technician Education, Manilla, Philippines. The department conducts national and international seminar/conferences regularly in the upcoming technologies.
